Mountain Hostels Manizales, a mid point city between Medellin or Bogotá and Cali. Buses to Bogotá are aprox 6 to 7 hrs, From Medellín the bus ride is 4 hrs and to Cali the bus ride takes aprox 6 hr.

Manizales has a bus terminal and there are three easy ways to reach the hostel. If you carry a lot or heavy items, we reccomend a taxi, 10 min and around $5000 COP. The red and white bus named Cumbre Minitas drops you off at the hostel on Calle 67 aprox 25 min and costs $1400 COP. Tell the driver to stop at the "calle larga de palermo" or "calle de los faroles". Alternatively the most spectacular way is to take the elevated cable service, have your camera ready and get off in Fundadores. Walk 2 blocks to Av. Santander and take any bus going to El Cable. Ask the driver to let you off at the "Facultad de Arquitectura" and walkaprox 3 blocks downhill. We are on your left, just before the corner.
